Weddings
There are weddings that have music, and then there are weddings with soundtracks. What makes the difference? The skill and experience of the musicians.
It’s a fact of life: weddings are notorious for having unexpected moments. Whether it be someone forgetting the rings, someone missing their cue, or just plain cold feet, your wedding needs to have musicians that are able to respond to whatever comes their way.
You've got enough things on your mind, you don't need to worry about music details.
I don’t just provide this level of service though, I also take it a step further. With my background in composing music, I also provide original music written just for you that would serve as a processional, recessional, song, or other music. You also can keep a copy of it for years down the road. Imagine having a song that was written for you and only you!
Consider having a personal composer. This person would serve as a coordinator of music so that you don't have to worry about it. You tell me what you want, I'll take care of all the details. The benefit of this idea is complete flexibility - You're not stuck with only doing a specific song as it was written - I can rearrange it, shorten it, lengthen it, transpose it, do whatever to get the desired affect. For whatever reason, you could want a Jimi Hendrix song arranged for cello and kazoo and I could make it happen.
Maybe you don’t want all of that. You can mix and match the following services/products, or break away from it altogether:
Music coordinator - I would be responsible for everything music-related for the occasion, from picking or writing the music to booking the musicians (all subject to your approval, of course).
Live musician(s) to perform at the special event
Original composition (either an instrumental or song with lyrics)
Setting of an existing text or lyric to music
Arrangement of an existing song
Transcription - If you have a melody in your head or if you wrote a song that only exists as a recording, I can write it out on paper for the musicians.
Transposition - If the song is too high or low for the singer, I can lower or raise it in no time!
Slideshow - I can create a slideshow with provided pictures and put music to it

(playable on any DVD player)
■ Music coordinator is only available in human form (I'm based out of Belfast, Maine, but
will travel anywhere)
